ABOUT

Mary Elizabeth Smith has been a resident of Oregon since 1975, hailing originally from Minneapolis where she received her BFA and BS from the University of Minnesota. She has been working in the social service field for over 40 years.

Since 1982, Mary has held a license from the Oregon Department of Health entering her 40th year as a licensed massage therapist. In 1985, she began her education in nutrition and received her certification from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2000.

In the past twenty five years, Mary has trained with some of the best and most knowledgeable practitioners in the United States. She is both licensed and bonded to practice bodywork and evaluate nutritional insufficiencies.

"The focus of my health care practice is to partner with clients in achieving optimal body functioning. For some clients, this has meant exclusively bodywork where others have also taken advantage of my evaluative skills: diagnosing nutritional imbalances.

I do not treat disease, nor chase symptoms but rather support organs by "feeding" them whole foods and pharmaceutical grade raw ingredients that will cleanse, support and regenerate energy to restore and maintain the body's natural working order"

Mary is the proud mother of two upstanding and contributing sons, together they have blessed Mary with five grandchildren. In between her work and civic commitments, she is an avid long-distance bicyclist and kayaker. Mary believes that "if you don't have a personal wellness program, life will negatively program you."
